I installed Gentoo on 5 laptops. The first is a Toshiba TE2000. The second one I call my walmart special. The third one is a Tecra 8200, the forth is a Compaq Presario V3018CL and the last is a Dell Inspiron 1501. I buy these laptops used and most not working on ebay.

My day job is a golf course superintendent in south florida. I repair and rebuild laptops for fun and not much profit.

I work on a golf course and our shop is a trailer and I couldn't tie up the phone line plus it is so slow and I can not stand to wait so what to do. I had heard about a Sierra AirCard 875U but with the state of linux and wireless I was not sure I could find a working card. Thanks to Kevin Lloyd at Sierra Wireless I have a working connection.
